Speech-Language Pathologist
I am a Registered Speech-Language Pathologist in Ontario with a passion for supporting children and their families in developing confident, functional communication skills. I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Cognitive Science of Communication at McMaster University in 2018 and graduated from McMaster’s problem-based learning Speech-Language Pathology program in Hamilton, Ontario
I have a special interest in motor speech disorders, phonological disorders, literacy, early language intervention, and developmental language disorders.
My Story
I have worked in private practice with paediatric populations, where I find great joy in providing individualized, evidence-informed therapy and collaborating closely with families to create meaningful, lasting change.
I am trained in the Smarter Intervention literacy remediation program to support children experiencing challenges with reading, writing, and/or comprehension. I am also trained in evidence-based approaches for children with motor speech disorders, including Dynamic Temporal & Tactile Cueing (DTTC) and Rapid Syllable Transition Training (ReST). Additionally, I have completed the Orofacial Rest Posture Program (ORPP).
I believe that therapy is most meaningful when it is functional, individualized, and family-centred. I consider it a privilege when parents trust me to support their child’s communication journey and am passionate about equipping families with the knowledge, strategies, and confidence they need to support their child beyond the therapy room.
I live in Guelph with my husband and our two young children. Outside of the clinic, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, getting outdoors, and travelling.
