The We Communicate Story
At We Communicate, our vision is to inspire and support families to take action towards stronger speech, language and literacy skills. Our ability to communicate impacts every facet of our lives, from asking for a toy to writing a school essay to grandparents understanding your child on a video chat. Our team understands that speech, language and literacy skills are integral to your child's life, and love teaming up with families to help your child flourish.
Knowing what support your child needs and beginning with speech-language pathology services can be a stressful and overwhelming task. Our team at We Communicate makes this process easier by empowering parents with clear information and developing meaningful connections with our clients and their families. The "we" in We Communicate is all about us forming a team together to support your child towards their potential.
We Communicate was founded by speech-language pathologist Becky McArthur in 2019. She wanted to bring more options for speech therapy to Simcoe, Ontario and surrounding Norfolk County, the area that she was born and raised in. Few speech-language pathology options for families meant many families were often waiting a long time for support or driving long distances to out of town appointments. With We Communicate, families were able to access speech therapy in the comfort of their home and see their child's speech, language and literacy skills blossom.
Since 2019, We Communicate has grown into a large team of passionate speech-language-pathologists to inspire and support more families than Becky ever could alone. The We Communicate team now provides services in family's homes in Norfolk County (Simcoe, Port Dover, Delhi and Waterford), Brantford, Kitchener, and Waterloo. In addition to in-home services, We Communicate expanded to offer virtual services (online) to support families across Ontario who want to access our life-changing services.
