Danielle Boot,
Speech-Language Pathologist
I’m a graduate of McMaster’s problem-based learning speech-language pathology program. During my final semester, I had a placement at We Communicate. Now, I am honoured to join the team!
My Story
My undergraduate degree is in cognitive science of languages (McMaster University) and I have an additional Masters degree in Professional Education with a focus on literacy (Western University). While completing my SLP education, I gained interest in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) - the use of technology and other supports to help individuals express themselves. I love discovering what makes each child unique and working alongside families to help them reach their goals.
I live in Hamilton with my husband. In my spare time I enjoy reading, listening to podcasts, and going on walks in nature.
